Lucian Pawlak is no stranger to getting things done. As the former mayor of New Britain, Pawlak was instrumental in the drive to rid the city of the gangs that plagued its neighborhoods. Many can argue that a large part of the success of Little Poland can be traced to the fruits being produced by programs implemented by the former city chief. Not surprisingly, Pawlak has been tapped by local business owners and the Polonia Business Association to to serve as the Executive Director of the 2018 Little Poland festival. This will be the fourth festival under the direction of Pawlak.
In addition to his knowledge of city services, logistics, and executive experience, Mayor Pawlak has years of experience with helping organize the city's annual Dozynki festival. Under his leadership, the festival has grown by leaps and bounds. An estimated 20,000 festival goers packed Broad Street in 2017. We can only imagine what is in store this year.
